So much depends on family
The ones that support you
that tear you out of hell
and get you back to your feet

"The Tiger"
I chose the poem "The Tiger" by William Blake because i liked it for alot of reasons. The first reason is that i really like the rhyme scheme. It is a classic pattern. Most of the poems i have read recently are really abstract and hard to understand. This poem is just regular and is entertaining. Another reason is the comparisons he uses are very creative. The last reason is because Blake gets really graphic about the tiger hunting its prey and ripping it to shreds.

My Favorite Holiday
The wind howls, and wolves cry
Bright Neon pink and green crazy hair
vibrant purple and blue eye make up
a chance to be someone else.
Children running wild through the streets
looking for a haunt,
flying eggs, soaring through the night sky
crash, crunch, drip, the yellow sticky yoke.
Blaring rap music, BOOM BOOM!
The subs thump.
